1. Suvarna Gramodaya Yojane
A comprehensive programme was conducted at Kattalagere Gram Panchayat, Channagiri Taluk, Belludi, G.Bevinahalli, Kumbaluru, Jigali Gram Panchayat, Harihar Taluk of Davangere District, Karnataka with an aim of providing basic infrastructure to the villages, Skill development to the youths, protecting the agriculture and Natural resources. Door-to-door survey was conducted in the village, comprehensive plan was prepared and report was submitted to the Concern authorities. Training was given to the youths and small farmers for skill development. Meetings at Gram Sabha level was conducted in which government officials and elected representatives participated and discussion took place about the integrated development of the village. Discussion on how to protect the agriculture and Natural resources was also made in the meeting.
2. Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) group formation under Janti Pravardhana Yojana
MARSS-K has taken up the initiative of forming 200 Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) benefitting the land less farmers, oral tenant farmers, small farmers and uplifting them with integrated development at Honnali, Harpanahalli talukas of Davangere District and are linked to local banks under NABARD Janti Pravardhana Yojana. The individual activities undertaken by Model-A JLGs and integrated activities taken by Model-B JLGs have seen success. Knowledge on mixed farming, multi-cropping, organic farming provided by MARSS-K has enhanced their farm productivity. 128 families have been benefitted.
