1. ASER –Programme (Annual Status of qccation Report in Rural area)

ASER –Programme was instigated in Bellary and Davangere District between 2004 and 2010. MSW students from three universities, Hampi University, Davangere University and Kuvempu University were involved in this programme. This programme was supported by ASER Centre, New Delhi, PRATHAM foundation, New Delhi and Akshara foundation, Dharwad. Random Survey was conducted and had interaction with the people and Status report of the children’s qccation and Suggested Remedies was prepared and submitted report to Government of India. Training was given to the officials at cluster level, Taluk level and district level. The reports are been published all over India in which our organisation has been enlisted in it.

2. Inspection and Monitoring Programme

Remedial Teaching Monitoring: Remedial Teaching Monitoring was also organized at Primary Schools. MARSS-K in association with Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Department of qccation, GoK, ASER centre, New Delhi and Akshara Foundation Bangalore, conducted Survey on qccation in the Hospet, Hagaribommanahalli and Bellary taluks of Bellary District and Harihar, Davangere, Honnali, Harapanahalli Talukas of Davangere District.

Remedial Teaching and Oduve Naanu Programs were implemented by Department of qccation, Government of Karnataka under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. The main objective of the programme is been to provide the remedial teaching after school hours to the students of Government primary and high schools. MARSS-K was selected to monitor and evaluate the implementation of these programmes in all Taluk of Bellary and Davangere District.

Observing whether the children are learning easily or not and submitting the Status Report to the supported by Akshara foundation. It has conducted Orientation programme was done for the staffs of the government and aided schools (School Development Monitoring Committee) SDMC Meetings and workshops. It has given awareness to the community to participate in the program monitored by our staff. MARSS-K had appointed good staffs for successful implementation of the programme and report was submitted Commissioner Office through our nodal agency Akshara Foundation. The department took severe actions against 125 school staffs who neglected to participate in this programme. Dr. G. Kumar Nayak, Commissioner, Department of qccation, Mr. Vijay Patvare, State Coordinator, Akshara Foumdataion , Mr. Satish Bhondade, State Coordinator, Akshara foundation Darwad, Mr. Shourish, coordinator, Manipal University appreciated this work and issued Appreciation Certificate.

MARSS-K has implemented K-Class’ an e-learning class in every schools(private, aided, non-aided schools) in each Taluk in every district of Karnataka in the year 2006. Staffs were recruited for this purpose which was coordinated by IL & FS qccation and Technology Pvt. Ltd. Survey, evaluation, marketing and implementation of K-class was effectively conducted.
